DIMC as a Supporting Partner in the 30th Dubai International Boat Show 2024

25 February 2024

The Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC) is poised to participate in the 30th edition of the Dubai International Boat Show 2024, organized by the Dubai World Trade Center and scheduled to take place from February 28th to March 3rd at Dubai Harbour.

This participation is in line with the directives of the club's Board of Directors, led by Ahmad Saeed bin Meshar, aimed at showcasing the club's pivotal role and highlighting its efforts in advancing marine sports, supporting the boat manufacturing industry, and inspiring enthusiasts of watersports while nurturing talent discovery.

Additionally, participation signifies a commitment from the Dubai International Marine Club, owing to its longstanding association with previous sessions of the Dubai International Boat Show, which were formerly held at the club’s headquarters in Mina Seyahi before its recent relocation to the forefront of Dubai Harbour. As one of the supporting partners in the 30th edition of the Dubai International Boat Show through numerous initiatives, this event holds significant importance, as confirmed by Mohammed Harib, Board Member, and CEO of the Dubai International Marine Club.

Mohammed Harib stated, 'We, on the Board of Directors of the Dubai International Marine Club, are always pleased to participate as supporting partners in the largest and most prestigious event in the marine lifestyle in the region and the Middle East. This year's edition reaffirms its continued brilliance. For over three decades, the club has played an integral role in this event.'

The Executive Director of the Dubai International Marine Club added that participation in the current session differs from previous ones, as it is represented by a platform covering an area of 300 square feet. DIMC will display the latest boats from the Victory Team department, including a one-of-a-kind fishing boat with international specifications, the VT 51, which will be showcased for the first time. Additionally, the VTX 34, a new icon that highlights Victory as a prominent brand in manufacturing the most luxurious and fast boats, will be featured. This draws from the experience and history of the team in major world championships, where they have achieved top positions in categories such as XCAT and Formula 1.

Mohammed Harib confirmed that the Victory boat (VT 51) is professionally designed for fishing trips in open waters, offering adventurous experiences. It provides spacious areas for friends and family, ensuring comfort and ample space for practicing this sport, with the capacity to accommodate guests. With a length of 51 feet and a width of over 3 meters, it features a fuel tank capacity of 1950 liters and a fresh water tank capacity of 300 liters. The boat also boasts luxurious appearances and onboard accessories, along with state-of-the-art sailing systems.

He further explained that the VTX 36 combines the excitement of fast boats with the sleek hull of a catamaran, delivering fluid performance and modern touches to satisfy sailing enthusiasts seeking pleasure, excitement, and luxury. With dimensions of 36 feet in length and 10 feet in width, it features a fuel tank with a capacity of 700 liters. Durability is ensured through its carbon fiber material, complemented by creative design elements both on the board and in the overall apperance.
