DIMC receives acknowledgement from Beit Al Khair Society

Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC) was acknowledged and thanked by the Beit Al Khair Society for its efforts and continued contributions in supporting the goals of the association. The club has actively implemented numerous community initiatives, which have successfully promoted cooperation between the clubs and institutions.

During a visit to the headquarters of the Victory Team Department at the Dubai International Marine Club, a distinguished delegation from the Beit Al Khair Society, led by Abdeen Taher Al Awadhi, Director General of the Society, and accompanied by Saeed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Deputy Executive Director, was warmly received by Mohammed Harib, DIMC CEO, and Department Heads.

Abdeen Taher Al Awadhi, Director General of the Society, took the opportunity to extend his warmest congratulations to the Board of Directors of the Dubai International Marine Club for the successful conclusion of the 2022-2023 marine sports season. He commended the positive collaboration between the two organizations, which resulted in the implementation of numerous initiatives that have set a new standard for cooperation between sports clubs and the association in serving societal goals.

He also extended his warm congratulations to the Dubai International Marine Club on the occasion of its Coral Jubilee and the celebration of its 35th anniversary since its founding in 1988. He conveyed his best wishes for continued success to the Board of Directors, associates, and supporters of the club and marine sports.

He also congratulated the Board of Directors of the Dubai International Marine Club and the Higher Organizing Committee for the successful 32nd edition of the Al Gaffal Dhow Sailing Race (60ft) last 30th of May with the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai.

Al Awadhi expressed the gratitude of the Beit Al Khair Society towards the Dubai International Marine Club and the Higher Committee for their generous donation of a food shipment to the association's stores. This initiative aims to distribute food to deserving individuals, reflecting the club's commitment to community service and humanitarian support.

Mohammed Harib, the CEO of the Dubai International Marine Club, warmly welcomed the delegation from the Beit Al Khair Association during their visit to the club's headquarters. He emphasized the club's strong commitment to supporting humanitarian work, serving various segments of society, and providing assistance for the implementation and success of initiatives.

Harib highlighted the Dubai International Marine Club, under the leadership of Ahmad Saeed bin Meshar, has established enduring partnerships with national institutions, including the Beit Al Khair Society. The club signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) last year with the association, leading to fruitful cooperation in implementing various initiatives. These initiatives include participating in charity projects such as distributing Iftar meals during Ramadan and donating the proceeds of fishing competitions to deserving individuals. Furthermore, the club provided a food shipment after the successful 32nd Al Gaffal Race. 

He stated that the Dubai International Marine Club aims to increase and activate more initiatives in the future, adhering to the same approach that promotes a positive image and enhances community partnership goals. The club is committed to achieving purposeful standards aligned with its strategic plan for the period 2021-2027.
