Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC) is set to host the second round of the Dubai Traditional Rowing Race - 30ft on Saturday, the 9th of December, during the current marine sports season 2023-2024.

The event is anticipated to attract participation from over 40 boats, competing for top positions in the second round. The competition is divided into two parts: the first half is designated for the local class for the country's nationals, while the second half is for the open class for the boats coming from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC Countries), as well as teams representing Government Departments, National Institutions, and Private Companies.

The upcoming race is the final opportunity for all boats to improve their positions in the general ranking, securing a top spot among the contenders for the title in the 26th edition of the Al Maktoum Cup Traditional Rowing Race, scheduled on the 23rd of this month.

The race will cover a distance of more than 2 km in the Dubai Water Canal, running along the walkway of the Al Jaddaf area, providing stunning views of the Business Bay skyline, Burj Khalifa, and Dubai Creek Harbor near the Wildlife Sanctuary.
