Worldwide Coverage of Dubai Watersports Summer Week

Dubai Waterports Summer Week is the activity held in the Dubai beaches recently under the implementation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council in response to the decision of the national authorities in the emirate to resume the water sports activities in Dubai which received a widespread attention in media sector through the international coverage from press agency. The event was organized by Dubai International Marine Club in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council.

The event is held to promote the back to normal life in sports with the implementation of safety procedure all throughout the 6 competition held over the 3 consecutive days last week with the participation of hundreds marine sports enthusiast and fans in Stand Up Paddling, Kayak Fishing, Flyboard, Motosurf, Kitesurf and Modern Sailing. 


With the gradual return to the life and resumption of sporting activity thru the Dubai Watersports Summer Week attended by the regional and international media to cover the beginning of the back to watersports activity that brings a festivity and success with a great numbers of participation that was achieved thru the efforts of the organizing committee - the Dubai International Marine Club where it attracted competitors from professional , beginners , heroes and national team as well as the marine enthusiast and fans of the sports.

The three-day activity in Dubai Waterports Summer Week gather around 300 participants of different ages and nationalities. The Telegraph which was founded 1855 and based in London also published the photo as one of the best shot in the week.

In Asia, the Straits Time from Singapore one of the major Asian Newspaper which circulate around 365,800 copies every day features the best shot taken in the during the week featuring an amazing stunt in Dubai Watersports Summer Week.  Also in the American Atlantic , feature in the website the photo taken during the event as one of the top 20 photo last Thursday , which described as an exciting sports.

The famous American Associated Press (AP) which is followed by over half of the world’s population published three photo in the Dubai Watersports Summer Week taken by Jon Gambrell the News Director of AP in – Gulf and Iran showcasing the flyboard and Motosurf Competition which was highlighted in some of the International media such as Bulgarian News Agency and Daily World India.

Following the global trend the presence of the Photographer from Getty Images , Francois Nel who took amazing shots of the event and published it in Getty Images site which is a British-American visual media company with headquarters in the USA.
