Dubai International Marine Club will be organizing the Dubai Traditional Dhow Sailing Race (60ft) on Saturday, marking the second round of the Dubai Championship 2023-2024 within the current sports season.

The race organizing committee has announced the commencement of preparations to ensure the race's success, in coordination with partners from government departments and national institutions. Additionally, they have initiated the registration process, both for old and new participants, through the club website until Friday, prior to the announcement of the entry list.

Mohammed Al Marri, Director of the Sports Affairs Department at the Dubai International Marine Club, stated that the organizing committee is dedicated to ensuring the race's success, which will serve as a rehearsal for sailors before the anticipated Al Gaffal Race, now on its 33rd edition, which will conclude the 2023-2024 season next month, in May.

He stressed that the organizing committee is monitoring all reports received from the National Center of Meteorology and various specialized websites regarding the sea state and expected wind speeds in the Arabian Gulf during the coming hours and days to ensure the race is conducted under the best possible conditions.
