Advanced Training Course between DIMC & Port Police

In conjunction with the World First Aid Day, Dubai International Marine Club together with the Maritime Rescue Section of the Ports Police Station conducted an Advanced Rescue Training Course in First Aid held at the club headquarters. 

The training comes within the framework of the existing cooperation between the DIMC and the Dubai Police represented by the Ports Police Station in the efforts to make the new season a successful one which started yesterday (Sunday) and will continue until May the next year. 

The course dealt with the theoretical and practical aspects of rescue in first aid under the supervision of the certified trainer, Wafiq Abdullah the Health and Safety Officer at DIMC, with the participation of 20 individuals that performed the required exercises at the training.

Lt. Colonel Ali Abdullah Al Naqbi, the Head of the Maritime Rescue Department at the Port Police Station, accompanied by Captain Dr. Tariq Ali Marah Hassan, received a commemorative shield from Mohammed Harib, the CEO of DIMC who praised the important role of Dubai Police and its continuous cooperation in the field of marine sports for the rescue and safety of all the participants.
