Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE Sailing and Rowing Federation (UAE SARF), recently paid a visit to the Victorian Team office located in Jebel Ali and managed by the Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC). He was accompanied by members of the Federation's Board of Directors.
During the visit, Sheikh Ahmed toured various departments at Victory Team and gained insight into the club's operations, in line with the ongoing efforts of the Board of Directors and DIMC's management, led by Mohammed Harib, CEO of DIMC. The delegation was taken through the boat manufacturing workshop, engine testing, and the processing of propellers and spare parts. They were also impressed by the collection of trophies in the Victory Team lobby, showcasing the championships the team has won since 1989, from local to global competitions.
Expressing his admiration, Sheikh Ahmed lauded the efforts of DIMC and the Victory Team to create a global legacy in powerboat racing and set an example in the marine industry.
Mohammed Harib, CEO of DIMC, conveyed the greetings of the DIMC Board of Directors, headed by Ahmad Saeed bin Meshar, to the President and Board Members of UAE SARF.
The visit was preceded by a tour and a periodic meeting for the Federation attended by several members, including Mohammed Abdullah Mohammed Al Obaidli, Secretary General of the Federation, Mohammed Obaid bin Majid Al Alili, Saif Rashid Khalifa Al Muhairi, and Salem Ghanim Obaid Khalfan Al Shamsi.
