Al Fahim and Stark to drive Victory’s ambitions in the F1H2O World Championship

Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC) announced the participation of Victory Team (VT) in the enthralling 2023 season of the UIM F1H2O World Championship, which will be held next month (February) in Toba Lake, Indonesia.

Victory Team will be represented by the duo Ahmed Al Fahim and Erik Stark, who will drive for Victory’s ambition in the championship among the top racers.  

The duo has remarkable records in powerboat racing wherein the Emirati, Ahmed Al Fahim previously represented the Victory Team (VT) boat for the F4 and Formula 2 World Championship for the first time in his career.

Al Fahim (42), is a well-known achiever in various sports such as Jetski as well as in Desert Rally races in Abu Dhabi and was crowned champion of the Emirates Desert Rally. He recently joined, the bicycle racing as well. 

While the Swedish Racer, Erik Stark (35), one of the experienced VT driver represented the team in various races in Formula 1, Class 1 Powerboat Championship in United State of America in 2019 and XCAT World Powerboat Championship 2021. With the dream team Erik aspires for a successful 2023 season. 

Stark's wide experience in powerboat racing started off at young age wherein in he participated for the World Championship with the Abu Dhabi and Maverick Racing Team, winning 4 races and 10 podiums out of his 37 racing career. His recent success was in 2018 when he was crowned first place in Sharjah.

Ahmed Al Sumaiti, the Director of Victory Team Department at DIMC welcomes the two champions: Ahmad Al Fahim and Erik Stark to the team and wishing them the best of luck in their new journey next month in Indonesia. 

Al Sumaiti explained that the selection of the two champions was based on special criteria and conditions set by the Victory Team administration in accordance with the directives of the DIMC Board of Directors, which look forwards to a successful comeback of the Victory Team in World Championship.

Ahmed Al Fahim expressed his excitement representing Victory Team and his readiness to take on a new challenge in the new season of the F1H2O World Championship. Acknowledging the DIMC Board of Directors headed by Ahmad Saeed Bin Meshar for their support and encouragement to achieve more.

Erik Stark would like to thank DIMC for the continuation of his racing career representing the Victory Team in the championship thru various races which given him a splendid experience and motivating him to do more for his dream team.
