The delegation of Dubai International Marine Club participate in the awarding ceremony for the second round of the XCAT which is held in the city of Shanghai with the participation of 13 boats and 26 racers on board representing various countries from all over the world.

The competition include several phases such as three major races wherein both Mohammed Hareb , CEO of DIMC and Hezaim Al Gemzi , Director of Sports Department attended the competition upon the invitation of the organizing committee.

As the preparation of Dubai International Marine Club continues for the third and final round of the World Championship on 12-14 December with the support and the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum , President of Dubai International Marine Club , wherein the delegation form a distinct presence in the aisle of the tournament and which the club will take over the ora\organization for the final round as confirmed by Mohammed Hareb

Mohammed  Hareb and Hezaim Al Gemzi represent as the UAE ambassadors of the marine sports who actively participated in the competition wherein getting the top-spot for the result is the Abu Dhabi Team with Abu Dahbi 4 (title holder) led by the duo Faleh Al Mansouri and Shaun Torrente , followed by the Abu Dhabi 5 led by Rashed Al Tayer and Majid Al Mansouri and the Dubai police team led by global duo Arif Zafeen and Nader bin Hindi

With presence of the Consul General of the UAE, H.E. Rashid Mattar Al Siri Qamzi in Shanghai and Mohammed Abdullah Hareb , CEO was seen on the final day wherein they got the opportunity to talk about the Dubai Grand Prix , the third and final round of the UIM World powerboat Championship under the support and patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum , Chairman of the club.

During Mohammed Hareb  speech in  the celebration of all the participating teams and racers who won and will compete in the final round on Dubai this December and tell the history of XCAT racing in Dubai since 1991, wherein we saw the first appearance of global competition in powerboat in Dubai and in the region.

He said that the club is working in all its potential for the success of the big event thru logistic wise and organization in which the emirate will host the final round which is considered as the most important part of the competition.He pointed out that since its launching in the World Powerboat in the waters of Dubai since 2010 with a great support. He also stressed that the upcoming competition will be a distinct and exceptional one.

During his speech he praised the outstanding performance of the UAE nationals and team in continuing the excellence in the said sports he also congratulated the outstading team of Abu Dhabi and Dubai Police and the presence of HE Rashid Mattar Al Siri Qamzi , Consul General of the UAE in Shanghai for the activities of the Greater China Award 2019.
