Bin Meshar: DIMC is continuously achieving its mission to the society

Registration closes today –Friday-for the first round of the 22ft Dubai Traditional Dhow Sailing Race which is organized by Dubai International Marine Club on Sunday as the season opener of the year 2022-2023.

H.E. Ahmad Saeed Bin Meshar, Chairman of the Dubai International Marine Club welcome all the sailors, boat owners, and participant to the opening of the season 2022-2023 which will start on Sunday until May next year.

DIMC Board of Directors conveyed their warm congratulations to all the participants, sailors, and boat owners and wishes everyone the best of luck with all the activities set to happen for this season. They also encourage everyone to participate in the community event that will be open to all.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors praised the great and influential role played by the DIMC partners and supporters from various government departments and national institutions which contribute a lot to the club in achieving its goals and objectives this season.

He also said the Dubai International Marine Club has been providing a great opportunity to all in preserving the heritage since its inception in 1988 and thru its proclamation in 1994 as the government agency responsible for organizing watersports in the Emirates of Dubai. The club is dedicated to excellence and global recognition thru its hard work.

Bin Meshar confirmed that this year's season will be full of a diverse event allowing various segments of the society to participate which comes within the DIMC framework to widespread the watersports among its nationals and residents.

He ended his speech encouraging the cooperation between the participants and organizing committee in the club to work together by complying with the rules and regulation by the club to make each event a successful one.
