Burj Khalifa hosting the We the Paddle for Dubai tomorrow (Friday)

Bujr Khalifa Water Lake will host tomorrow (Friday),  the "We paddle for Dubai " event at 5:30 in the afternoon organized by Dubai International Marine Club with the support of Dubai Sports Council in partnership with Emaar Properties and in cooperation with Kite N Surf . The event will be held inline with the initiative to widespread the watersports around Dubai beaches.


The big event is expected to bring together various segment of the society as it will be held for the first time in one of the most popular tourist destination in the world, guaranteed that the success of the event will bring enjoyment to all the participants and to have more the same event.

Last Monday, the organizing committee of the Dubai International Marine Club announced the opening of the registration to participate in the said event and right after 48 hours the committee decided to close it, as they have been successful in completing the maximum number of participation. The event is one of a kind sports gathering that aims to raise awareness in the importance of sports and the great diversity of activities that is happening in Dubai.

The organizing committee will implement the protocol by the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management in Dubai and require all the participants to abide the precautionary measures such as social distancing, wearing of mask and checking of temperature prior to the event.

As per the event time table the participants are expected to be early on site to complete the procedures and received the event uniform. The committee will also be having a briefing to discuss important points - the race course and to discuss to the community the goal of the event which is not about the principle of competition but an active community participation.
