Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC) celebrated the achievements of our national team who won medals at the Asia Beach Rowing Championship after participating for the first time. The event took place in Thailand last month with the participation of rowers from all over the world.
DIMC presented the members of the national team and the technical staff with medals of appreciation during the awarding ceremony of the UAE Rowing Championship - Round 5, which the club successfully organized last Saturday on the shores of the Dubai Islands with the participation of 60 competitors representing 6 teams.

During the Asian Championship, Ahmed Khamis Al Hammadi won a bronze medal for men's singles, while Hamad Saeed Al Matrooshi and Khamis Ghanim AL Shamsi won a bronze medal in men's doubles. In the junior category, Zayed Obaid Al Shamsi and Sultan Ahmed Al Shamsi also won a medal. 

Mohammed Abdullah Al-Obaidli, Secretary-General of the Emirates Sailing and Modern Rowing Federation, accompanied by Mohammed Al Marri, Director of the Sports Affairs Department at the Dubai International Marine Club, awarded medals to the team members.
