A delegation from the Dubai International Marine Club participated in the “ Aftir 3 افطار ” initiative, one of the key projects of the Beit Al Khair Society, implemented in cooperation with First Abu Dhabi Bank as part of its Ramadan campaign for the year 1446 AH - 2025 AD.
The club's delegation, which attended one of the Iftar meal distribution centers for families in Al Warqaa, contributed to the preparation and distribution of meals and gained firsthand insight into the valuable efforts undertaken by the Beit Al Khair Society and its staff in carrying out this significant charitable work.
The event was honored by the presence of Sheikh Dr. Abdulaziz bin Ali Al Nuaimi, H.E. Abdeen Taher Al Awadhi, Director General of Beit Al Khair Society, Mohammed Abdulla Harib, Board Member and CEO of DIMC, and Aisha Al Shamsi, Senior Manager - Business Support at DEWA, along with several department directors from the club and officials from other participating entities.
Harib praised the ongoing efforts and initiatives of the Beit Al Khair Society, commending its contributions to the 2025 Year of the Community, which carries the slogan "Hand in Hand." He highlighted how the Ramadan campaign, particularly the Iftar project, reinforces the values of Islam by promoting solidarity and mutual support, reflecting the deep-rooted culture of the Emirati people and their enduring commitment to charity and generosity.
It is worth noting that the Beit Al Khair Society and the Dubai International Marine Club previously signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at fostering community partnerships and leveraging shared capabilities. They have successfully implemented several initiatives, including honoring outstanding orphaned children, introducing community members to marine sports activities, and allocating proceeds from fishing competitions to charitable causes.
