Dubai International Marine Club's Board of Directors, led by Ahmad Saeed Bin Meshar, praised the club's positive and outstanding participation in the 29th edition of the Dubai International Boat Show 2023, organized by the Dubai World Trade Center at Dubai Harbour from 1st-5th of March.
The Board of Directors commended the club's remarkable presence at the event, reflecting the efforts of the board and the club's significant role as the oldest and most prestigious destination for marine sports in the region and the Middle East. The club showcased its latest innovations in the field of leisure boats and racing boat manufacturing, as well as introduced many aspects of the club's role in organizing races and hosting major international championships.
This came during the monthly board member meeting held last Wednesday, attended by Ahmad Saeed Bin Meshar, Chairman of the Board of Directors, Saif Juma Al Suwaidi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, and members of the board including Rashid Thani Al Ail, Essa Nasser, Khaled Al Balooshi, Khalid Khamis bin Dasmal, and Ali Saeed Bin Thalith, along with Mohammed Harib, CEO of DIMC.
The Board of Directors at the Dubai International Marine Club expressed their admiration for the highly successful marine sports events that took place during the 29th edition of DIBS. Among the most captivating was the first round of the Dubai Fishing Championship for Kingfish & Cobia, which garnered public attention with its impressive display of caught fish. Additionally, visitors were amazed by the awe-inspiring stunts of the Hydrofly & Freestyle as part of the UAE Int’l Aquabike Championship.
The meeting concluded with the Board of Directors congratulating the Victory Formula 1 powerboat team for their impressive performance at the recently concluded Kopiko Grand Prix of Indonesia held in Lake Toba, Indonesia. The Board expressed its appreciation for the team's outstanding results at the event.
