DOSC Dominates the Second Round of Modern Sailing Race

Dubai Offshore Sailing Club (DOSC) team takes the centre stage for the second round of the Dubai Modern Sailing Race organized by Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC) as part of the marine sports season 2022-2023 for two days in Jumeirah Beach.

DIMC organizes this event under the UAE Sailing and Rowing Federation (UAESARF) in cooperation with Dubai Offshore Sailing Club (DOSC) within the club’s framework to spread awareness to various segments of society about the modern sailing race.

DOSC Junior Sailors grab the limelight in the competition thru their achievement in the 4 categories gathering total of 7 medals (3 golds, 2 silver, and bronze) while the Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club with its distinguished performance in the race with a total of 3 Medal along with the Al Hamriya Cultural & Sports Club with a total of 2 medals.

The awarding ceremony took place in DOSC led by the presence of Mohammed Harib, Board Member of UAESARF and CEO of DIMC with Mohammed Abdullah Mohammed Al Obaidli, Secretary General, and Khalid Mohammed Sultan Al Owais Al Shamsi congratulating the top three winners of the race.

  • Optimist (12-year-old): Kornelia Pajak
  • ILCA 4 (under 14 years- overall): Mohamed Marwan Al-Marzouqi
  • ILCA 4 (under 14 years- Girls): Nadine Trigkonis
