Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC) to host the first round of the 2022 UAE Int'l Aquabike Race tomorrow at Al Shorooq Beach (Sunrise Beach) which tops the calendar activities for January 2022 of the UIM (Union International Motonautique).
The international event which is organized by the club under the marine sports season 2021-2022 serves as the opening event of the UIM on its centenary (1922-2022).Several season ago , the event gained its international recognition which attracted a lot of Aquabike enthusiasts to participate in the Championship that will give them points in the World Ranking.
Yesterday , the first stage of the competition began with the Participants Online Meeting with the Committee which discussed about the Race Instruction, regulations and procedure to follow before and after the race.
Today, the second stage of the procedure will continue as the Racers will come at the club headquarter to confirm their participation and do the Technical Inspection prior to the race day tomorrow at Al Shorooq Beach in Jumeirah.
Mohammed Hareb, CEO of the Dubai International Marine Club, welcome all participants for the race tomorrow and inviting the public to enjoy the most beautiful winter weather in the world with the Aquabike event throughout the day.
He said that this race has been one of the important events in the club’s calendar of activities that bring together the top racers from all over the world in a competition being held under the UIM (Union International Motonautique).
He reminded everyone to adhere to the Safety Measure issued by the health authorities and the regulation implemented by the club to limit the spread of COVID 19.
