Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC) was recently honored by Beit Al Khair Society during a special ceremony recognizing sponsors and partners who contributed to the success of the Society’s charitable initiatives, including its Ramadan campaign “Iftar Saem.”
Khalid bin Dasmal, Board Member of Dubai International Marine Club, attended the ceremony and received the honorary shield on behalf of the club from Abdeen Taher Al Awadhi, Director General of Beit Al Khair Society. Al Awadhi praised the key role played by partners and supporters in enabling the organization’s initiatives—among them DIMC—whose contributions continue to make a significant impact on the community.
In his remarks, Dasmal expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Board of Directors of Beit Al Khair Society for their ongoing efforts and initiatives, in line with the “Year of Community 2025.” He emphasized the club’s eagerness to continue and expand cooperation through Beit Al Khair's platforms, highlighting the importance of collaborative community engagement.
It is worth noting that DIMC and Beit Al Khair Society previously signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to establish a strategic partnership aimed at fostering social responsibility and leveraging shared resources to enhance the role of national institutions within the community.
The collaboration between both parties has led to several impactful initiatives, including honoring outstanding orphaned children at the Victory Team headquarters, introducing them to international marine sports events, and offering them the opportunity to meet star athletes during world-class sailing and powerboat championships. Additionally, proceeds from DIMC’s fishing competitions have been allocated to support charitable causes through Beit Al Khair Society.
