Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC) has started its preparations to host the XCAT Dubai Grand Prix , the third and final round of the 2019 World Championship, which is organized by the club on 12-14 December under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the President of the club , within the marine sports season 2019-2020.
Within 45 days to go before the grand event, in the club headquarters held a meeting between the representatives of the UIM (Union International Motonautique) to arrange and coordinate the big event with the Dubai International Marine Club to make it a success in the world event.
Mohammed Hareb, the CEO of DIMC was keen to welcome the representative of the International Federation - UIM, Pasquale Sesana with the organizing committee led by the presence of Hezaim Al Gemzi, the Director of Sports Department at DIMC with Mohammed Al Shamsi the Director of Admin Corporate Support.
He said that the Dubai International Marine Club through the support His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, pursue to make the event a successful one and looking forward to delivering them to the international marine sports family.
He also said that the XCAT World Championship brings together the best team and international competitor of the sports which is also linked to the UAE which is represented the source and origin of the said sports, which flourished to everyone all thanks to its success here.
DIMC is considering many options for the location of upcoming race and working to accomplish a certain task and to coordinate with various government and national institution as per required by the event to obtain its organizational success which is continuously achieved by the club since it was established in 1988 and after joining the UIM on the 1990 in Monaco as the first Arab and Middle East Club to host the first world event in 1992.
