Fleet Carrying the Organizing Commitee heading for 29th Al Gaffal Race

The Fleet carrying the Orgaizing commitee heading to the Island tomorrow morning in preparation for the 29th Al Gaffal Long Distance Race  which is held under the support and patronage of  His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum , Deputy Ruler of Dubai and UAE Minister of Finance. the race is set to kick off on Friday Morning. 

The fleet proceeds in the Island to assist the participants in coordination with the Sir Bu Na'air Island officials in completing the needed procedure prior to the race such as the Technical Inspection for two days. 

The great cooperation between the yachts management and the Higher Organizing Committee of the race in providing transportation and accommodation to all the staff of the VIP, Oraganizing Committee Staff and Media during the event days providing four big boats for the service to be used in the race. 

The boat Zabeel will be the Organizing Committee headquarters and control center for the race , the headquarter for Special Operation Team working there in Sir Bu Na'air Island prior to the race day. 

Another yacht the Fatah for the medical serving as a hospital in water which include doctor and 13 members of paramedics team to provide all the necessary medical assistance needed and to escort the ship all throughout the race 

The Shindagha boat for the delegation of the of Dubai Media Incorporated, which will accompany the race in excellent coverage in providing the best image and video in following the race from Sir Bu Na'air Island to the Finish Line. 

The Al Fahidi Boat that will host the VIP guest with a journalist from different company to follow the race until start to finish to provide a distinct media coverage world wide. 

Hezaim Al Gemzi said that the arrangement to Sir Bu Na'air Island was prepared long time since we rescheduled the race wherein the committee follow the sea condition and decided to held the big race on Friday. 

He praises a great cooperation within the oragizing committee and the various government and national institution in understanding all the race circumstances by proving all the needed assistant necessary due to the postponement of the race date up to announcing the new date, on Friday. 

He said that in the race the owners and participants play an important role in the organizing committee decision to wait for the right timing of the race pointing out that the 29th edition achieve a new record of participation of 131 boats to sail towards the Sir Bu Na'air Island until the shore of Dubai this Friday. 

He reminded all the owners and skippers to follow all the rules and regulations implemented to protect the Sir Bu Na'air Island in preserving the environment cleanliness by not throwing waste or damage the coral reefs. He wishes everyone  a best of luck in the competition
