Dubai International Marine Club announced the opening of registration for the Second Round of the Dubai Fishing Competition 2022 in conjunction with the 28th edition of the Dubai International Boat Show (DIBS) that will start on Wednesday until Sunday (9-13th of March 2022). 

The organization of the second round which will begin tomorrow – Wednesday- comes within the activities for the current season 2021-2022 and within the framework of the Club Board of Directors to increase community participation in the events especially the fishing enthusiast.

DIMC allocates a total of 165,000 Dirhams as prize money for all the winners of the second round which will be divided into two categories the Kingfish and Cobia. The first 10 winners of the Kingfish category will receive a total of 135,000 Dirhams while the top 3 winners of the Cobia category will receive a total of 35,000 Dirhams.

Looking back at the first round,  held last month at P&O Marinas headquarter wherein the club successfully gathers 70 participants and collected a total of 16 fish (Kingfish & Cobia) weighing 428 KG wherein the proceeds was donated to charitable organization.
