The Dubai Island Events, organized by the Dubai International Marine Club within the sports season 2023-2024 and in cooperation with Nakheel, achieved great success, represented by diverse participation from all segments of society. 

Various sporting activities within the waters of Dubai Islands recorded remarkable attendance by members of the Pirate Surf Rescue Academy, with more than 60 children participating in the paddling relay and some competing in the community event. 

The Dubai Island Event, held last Saturday, included three events: the Dubai Kayak Boats Fishing Tournament, Stand Up Paddling, and Kayak Race. 

Mohammed Al Marri, Director of the Sports Affairs Department at DIMC, was keen to hand over medals to all the participants, especially the members from the Pirate Surf Rescue Academy.
