UAE Champions dominated the Aquabike Race

Our UAE Champion dominated the first and opening round of the UAE Int’l Aquabike Championship, organized by the Dubai International Marine Club within the sports season 2023-2024, under the supervision of the UAE Marine Sports Federation (UAEMSF) and in accordance with the UIM (Union Internationale Motonautique) Aquabike Rules. The event took place at Dubai Island beach in conjunction with the World Coolest Winter campaign.

The event achieved great success, with 80 male and female racers from 10 countries participating worldwide. They competed in two rounds of each category from morning until afternoon.

Our hero, Sultan Eisa Al Hammadi from XBJ Racing Team, took the spotlight in the race, achieving a double win in two categories: Ski Division GP1 and Runabout GP4 (Spark). In his first victory, he defeated the Belgian racer Anthony Bernaut, who secured the second place, while the third place went to Omar Abdulla Rashid (UAE). In his second triumph, he outpaced the Kuwaiti Ahmed AlKhadhari and Fahad AlYaqob.

Our hero, Khalid Sulaiman Al Mazemi from the Sharjah Team, took the lead in the Runabout GP2 against his rivals, Salman Younis Alawahdi from the Dubai Police Team, who secured the second spot, and Amer Abdulrazaq Hawair, his teammate from the Sharjah Team, took the third place. Meanwhile, our hero Jamal Al Janahi from Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi's team topped the Runabout GP3 against Abdalla Alhamadi in second place and Albert Agnes from Hungary in the third position. In the Veterans 2 Stroke category, the UAE Champion Huraiz Bin Huraiz dominated, coming in first place, with Ghanem AL Marri in second and Mohammed Mohsen in third.

In the Junior Category, our hero Suhail Al Tayer from Dubai Police Team took first place in Ski Junior GP3.3 (13-15 years old), followed by Ali Alali from P&O Marine Team in second and Saif Al Shuwaihi in third place from the Sharjah Team. For Ski Junior GP3.2 (10-12 years old), our champion Ahmed Salem from Dubai Police Team topped the category against the Russian Kir Ivanov, with Sultan Majad Al Sharshani from Qatar in third place. In the last category of Ski Junior GP3.1 (8-9 years old), our hero Abdullah Alwadhi from Dubai Police Team won first place against the Kuwaiti Yousef Ramadhan, with Zayed Issa Al Hammadi in third place.

The Kuwaiti World Champion, Mohammad Jassim Albaz, took the lead in the Runabout GP1 ahead of the Qatari Racer Waleed Mahmoud Al Sharshani, and the Japanese veteran Jun Ikoma took the third position. The leading spot for Ski Division GP2 went to the Russian racer  Pakhomov Aleksandr Pavlovich, with the Kuwaiti Fares Ramadhan in second place, followed by the Qatari Waleed Al Sharshani in third place.

Right after the race, the awarding ceremony for the top three winners of each category took place in the presence of the DIMC Board Member and CEO, Mohammed Harib, accompanied by Mohammed Al Marri, the Director of Sports Affairs at DIMC, and Khalid Mohsen, the Race Director.
