The Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM) has highlighted on its official website and social media accounts the news of XCAT's return to Dubai after a two-year hiatus.

The International Federation has published photos of the signing of the agreement between Mohammed Harib, Board Member and CEO at Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC), and Thomas Kurth, Secretary-General of the UIM, for the club to host the final round of UIM XCAT World Powerboat Championships scheduled on 6-8th December 2024.

UIM has confirmed that the agreement also stipulates that the Dubai International Marine Club will continue to host and organize the major event, which has been held in the waters of the Dubai since 2010, for several years to come.

World Powerboat Championship

The World Powerboat Championships, under the auspices of the UIM, have commenced strongly and are currently in their twelfth season as of 2024.
