Victory Team to participate in 2023 World Powerboat Championship Formula 1

The Board of Directors at Dubai International Marine Club headed by Ahmad Saeed bin Meshar thanked His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council for his continuous support and follow-up to work accordingly with the directives that build the club reputation.

During the monthly meeting for December 2022, the Chairman and Board Member of the Dubai International Marine Club welcome on board Khalid bin Dasmal and Ali Saeed Bin Thalith as part of members for the club's Board of Directors.


They also acknowledge the contribution of Ibrahim Al Haddad and Jamal Zaal, the former members of the Board of Directors for their great efforts in the previous and current seasons and wish them the best in their future endeavors.

The said meeting was led by Ahmad Saeed bin Meshar, Chairman of the Board of Directors, with the presence of Saif Juma Al Suwaidi the Vice Chairman, Rashid Thani Al Aail,Essa Mohamed Elhag Nasser, Khalid Ali Al Balooshi and the two new members Khalid Khamis Bin Dasmal and Ali Saeed Bin Thalith.

The club’s Board of Director decided to approve the participation of the Victory Team in the Formula 1 World Powerboat Championship for the 2023 sports season which is scheduled to start during the month of February.

The meeting dealt as well with the discussion pertaining to Victory Team comes back in participation for the World Powerboat Championship and the choices of racers that would represent the team. Rest assured the administrative and technical staffs are working hard to succeed in the new mission after the hiatus due to the pandemic COVID-19.

The Board of Directors praised the valuable efforts of the executive management of the club and its organizational units for successfully completing the first half of the sports season 2022-2023 which includes traditional dhow sailing race for 22ft, 43ft, 60ft and traditional rowing race 30ft and the 26th Al Maktoum Cup that ended that concluded the December 2022.
