Dubai International Marine Club crowned the winners of the second round of the Dubai Kitesurf Championship, held at Jebel Ali Beach as part of the ongoing Dubai Aquatic Sports Festival , which continues daily with wide participation from marine sports enthusiasts from inside and outside the UAE.

The awards ceremony was conducted by Mohammed Harib, Board Member and CEO of Dubai International Marine Club, along with Mohammed Al Marri, Director of Sports Affairs at the Club, honoring the top finishers at the conclusion of the thrilling kitesurf competitions, which spanned two action-packed days featuring high-level performances.


Competition Results

In the Twin Tip (Men) category, Mohammed Obaid claimed first place, followed by Anshka Daniel (Sri Lanka) in second place, and Kasper Czesny (Poland) in third.

In the Twin Tip (Women) category, Marta Morlo (Poland) secured first place, followed by Milana Zviser (Serbia) in second, and Marta Fidalgo (Portugal) in third.

In the Freestyle (Men) category, Pablo Valforson (USA) took first place, followed by Abdullah Al Gharbali (Kuwait) in second, and Hossam El Sayed (Egypt) in third.

In the Freestyle (Women) category, Marta Morlo (Poland) claimed first place, followed by Marta Fidalgo (Portugal) in second, and Milana Zviser (Serbia) in third.

In the Wing Foil category, Kenan Arosi Erosi (Bulgaria) finished first, followed by Pierre Corson (France) in second, and Quincy Radovsky (USA) in third place.


Festival Continues

Dubai Aquatic Sports Festival  continues today with the Dubai Aquabike Race , featuring intense competition among an elite group of top riders at Jebel Ali Beach. The total prize money for the championship amounts to AED 351,000.

The organizing committee held a briefing meeting for participants ahead of the qualifying rounds, which took place on Friday. Based on performance, the top riders in each category qualified for the finals, which will be broadcast live on Dubai Sports TV Channels and across the official platforms of Dubai International Marine Club, ensuring wide reach among fans of adventure-driven marine sports.

The sports festival will conclude tomorrow, Sunday, at Jumeirah Beach with the Dubai Kayak Fishing Competition, alongside the second round of the Dubai Stand-Up Paddling and Kayak Race.

Strong Participation

Mohammed Harib, Board Member and CEO of Dubai International Marine Club, expressed his pride in Dubai’s status as a global destination for marine activities during the winter season. He noted that this has encouraged the Club to organize a series of diverse events in response to strong participation from both local and international competitors.

He also highlighted the success of the Dubai Aquatic Sports Festival , held last week, which showcased promising talents and competitive performances. He expressed optimism about seeing these athletes compete again in kitesurf and kayak events, as well as the highly anticipated Dubai Jet Ski Championship, which features some of the strongest and most skilled riders, promising exciting competition along Dubai’s beaches.

Mohammed Al Marri confirmed that registration remains open for participants, with online registration continuing to ensure ease, speed, and transparency in completing procedures and verifying eligibility requirements. He added that organizing teams have completed all necessary preparations at the competition venues in coordination with various partners.

These events are organized as part of Dubai International Marine Club’s 2025–2027 Strategic Plan, which aims to strengthen Dubai’s position as a global hub for marine sports, support the development of sports and community events, nurture talent, and expand the range of marine sports by introducing and promoting additional competitions.
