Dubai International Marine Club will be organizing the second round of the Dubai Traditional Dhow Sailing Race (22ft) on Saturday at the Jumeirah shore within the framework of the current season 2022-2023.
The club announced the opening of registration through the club's website until 12'o clock tomorrow before posting the entry list. We witnessed the first round of the 22ft last September during the season's opening with 43 boat participants with more than 200 future sailors on board that competed for the titles in two categories: the Junior under 16 years old and the youth under 21 years old.
Jumeirah Beach will witness today the second round of the Dubai Traditional Dhow Sailing Race (22ft) which is organized by Dubai International Marine Club as part of the current sports season 2022 - 2023.
Today's competition will bring together elite racers who will be divided into two categories the youth under 21 years old and the junior under 16 years old to challenge their acquired sailing skills.
The organizing committee at Dubai International Marine Club completed all the necessary arrangement for today’s race in cooperation with all the government department and national institution who is always behind the success of the club.
Zilzal boat no. 25 was crowned as champion of the Dubai Traditional Dhow Sailing Race (22ft) for the youth category which is owned by Marwan Abdullah Al Marzouki and led by his son Abdullah.
The great race witnessed as well the brilliance of boat no. 79 Al Fahed owned by Mansour Jassem Mayouf and led by Muhammad Jassem Mayouf who outperformed all other boats in the junior category (under 16 years old).
