The 43ft Dubai Traditional Dhow Sailing Race returns to sail in Dubai beaches on Saturday with the first round of the competition under the new season 2021-2022.
DIMC Board of Directors headed by Ahmed Saeed Bin Meshar has approved the inclusion of two rounds of the 43ft Dhow Race which is scheduled to take place this weekend and the second round on the 13th of November 2021.
The club has successfully organized two events already under the new season with opening rounds of the 22ft Dhow Sailing Race and Dubai Traditional Rowing Race.
The organizing committee announced the opening of registration for the upcoming race on Saturday thru the link that was sent to the boat owners and sailors, reminding them also that the registration will close on Wednesday before the announcement of the entry list.
In preparation for the upcoming race, the committee monitors the weather forecast thru daily reports from the National Center of Meteorology (NCM) to host the race in a suitable condition that will ensure the safety of all the participants.
