To ensure the safety of all participants due to the bad weather today, it has been decided to postpone the second round of the Dubai Traditional Dhow Sailing Race (60ft).The new date to be announce later.
Dubai International Marine Club decided to advance one day the second round of the Dubai Traditional Dhow Sailing Race (60ft) which be held on Saturday at Dubai beaches instead of the previous schedule at Sunday due to the bad weather expected in the coming day.
The 60ft Dhow Sailing Race includes 3 rounds which started last February with the launching of the first round which achieved a great success and will continue thru its second round this Saturday prior to the final round on the month of May.
Jumeirah Beach in Dubai will witness a great heritage sporting event event with the conclusion of the 60ft Dubai Traditional Dhow Sailing Race - Heat 2 organized by Dubai International Marine Club as part of the marine sports season 2021-2022.
Today's race is an important milestone in preparation to participate in the biggest and most expensive race of the season, the 31st Al Gaffal Long Distance Race (Sir Bu Na'air to Dubai Coast) which will happen on May, it will be the closing race of the season.
