Dubai International Marine Club (DIMC) is preparing to organize the UAE Int’l Aquabike Championship - Dubai Heat 1, the opening round of the 2024 Championship, which is set to kick off this Saturday at Dubai Island Beach.
The event is taking place during the current sports season 2023-2024 and in conjunction with the World Coolest Winter Campaign. The event will adhere to UIM (Union Internationale Motonautique) Aquabike Rules and will be supervised by the UAE Marine Sports Federation (UAEMSF).
The stunning Dubai Islands Beach will host the event for the second year in a row, continuing the successful collaboration between DIMC and Nakheel that garnered admiration from participants and the audience last season. The race attracts elite champions from the region and the Middle East, as well as international stars who have previously participated in the UAE Championship to earn general classification points in various professional categories.
Participants will compete for titles in 10 categories, including Ski Division GP 1, Runabout GP3 (UAE Nationals), Ski Division GP2, Runabout GP2, Veterans GP2 (2 Stroke), Ski Junior GP3.3, Ski Junior GP3.2, Ski Junior GP3.1, Runabout GP4, and Runabout GP1.
DIMC previously announced the opening of registration via the link sent in SMS and posted on social media, which will continue until Friday. Participants are scheduled to complete their registration and technical inspection on Friday, with an online meeting scheduled through Google Meet on Thursday.
On race day (Saturday), the schedule will be divided into two sets: Race 1 for all categories in the morning at 09:30 AM and Race 2 for all categories in the afternoon at 2:00 PM.
Participants of the UAE Int’l Aquabike Championship - Dubai Heat 1 will have an online racer briefing today to discuss the race course, race instructions, and regulations implemented by the organizing committee ahead of the upcoming race.

DIMC initiated the registration procedure for the UAE Int’l Aquabike Championship earlier via a link sent in SMS and shared on our Social Media Account. This process will continue until Friday, which is also scheduled for the completion of the Technical Inspection of all participants.
All attention this Saturday morning is on Dubai Island, which is hosting the first and opening round of the UAE International Aquabike Championship 2024 organized by the Dubai International Marine Club as part of the sports season 2023-2024.

Dubai International Marine Club completed its preparations and necessary equipment for the success of the race in coordination with our partners from government departments and national institutions. Last Thursday, during the meeting with the participants, the committee discussed the race course and rules in the race instructions. On Friday, the registration and technical inspection were completed.

The UAE International Aquabike Championship – Dubai Heat 1 brings together 90 competitors representing 11 countries, led by the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Palestine, Britain, Belgium, Hungary, and Cyprus.

Dubai Media Incorporation continues its steadfast support for DIMC’s watersports activities by broadcasting the race live on Dubai Sports TV Channel. The broadcast starts at ten o’clock in the morning session and at two o’clock in the afternoon session.
The team, under the supervision of Abdul Rahman Amin, the General Manager of Dubai Sports TV Channels, has completed all arrangements for the live broadcast. This was done with the follow-up of Abdul Khaleq Al Khamis, Director of Operations and Operations, and producer Ismail Abdul Latif.
